Some of the 'Brighton Series' I painted whilst working as a part-time sign painter for The Palace Pier, Brighton. I never got to exhibit these, but then, neither did I manage to capture, either in technique or subject, what I was trying to convey. A sudden departure to Wales for 20 years curtailed a next step into 'split screen' canvases.
